Replace Clinic (NIF 516371959, ERS registration E161863) is a medical practice based at Rua Rodrigues Sampaio 146, 1.º Esq., Lisbon, Portugal, led by Dr. Fátima Garcês. Our website is hosted on Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase infrastructure.

2. What information we collect

When you use our contact or evaluation request form, we collect the details you choose to provide:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Treatment you are interested in
• Any message or health information you include

If you contact us via WhatsApp or email, those messages are handled by Meta/WhatsApp or your email provider respectively and are subject to their privacy policies.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry or booking request
• To prepare for your evaluation
• To keep a record of our communication with you
• To send you appointment-related information, where applicable

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Use of artificial intelligence

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist our team with certain administrative and support tasks, for example helping to summarise and organise incoming enquiries, drafting suggested responses for review by our staff, and assisting with the translation of content between the languages we serve.

AI is used as a support tool only. It does not make medical decisions, diagnoses, or any automated decision about you, and no medical advice is produced solely by AI. All clinical decisions and recommendations are made by Dr. Fátima Garcês, or under her direct supervision.

Any personal information you submit is processed in line with the rest of this policy. We do not share your personal data with third-party AI services for the purpose of training their models.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only two categories of cookies on this site:

• Essential cookies — required for the website to function securely, for example session security and form submission protection. These cannot be declined.
• Optional analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors move through the site so we can improve content and usability. These are only placed if you choose to accept them.

You can withdraw or change your cookie choice at any time — the banner will appear again so you can choose differently.

6. Where data is stored

Evaluation form submissions are stored in Lovable Cloud (Supabase) databases. Lovable Cloud provides standard platform security controls such as encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and role-based access policies. Our clinic is responsible for how we configure and use those controls, including access permissions and retention practices.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep evaluation enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and to manage any follow-up care. If you would like us to delete your personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will remove it within a reasonable time, unless we are required to keep it by law or for clinical record obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing, including profiling, as well as the rights to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, cnpd.pt) or the authority in your country of residence.
